As a Nature Photographer, with a fascination for exploring the outdoors, I love to travel to wild and remote places. My interest in nature started at an early age with family visits to our National Parks. In high school, I dabbled in photography but it wasn't until 2003 that I began, in earnest, to practice my camera skills as a way to capture and share my love of wildlife.
My work has been published in the Tierra Verde Living Magazine, Fish Alaska Magazine, on the cover of the Annual Kenai Peninsula Sports, Rec & Trade Show brochure and United Way Suncoast's calendars (2018-2020) and a variety of other calendars each year.

Photographing nature is my way of documenting the world around me. The beauty and magic are often hard to describe; but a still image allows me to capture and share interesting moments that are often overlooked in real time. Taking an intriguing wildlife photograph is not easy BUT, once in a while…. after putting myself in the right location, at the right time of day, in just the right light, I apply all the technical knowledge I’ve learned and patiently wait. Then....with a touch of luck, nature rewards me with a great shot.
You will find some of my favorite images here in my galleries.
